Coach Travis Johnson started his swimming career in southeast Louisiana at the age of 12 and assistant coaching at the age of 15. His swimming experience includes two years with the Houma-Terreborne YMCA - USS program. He has trained with numerous Masters Programs. Travis initially earned his American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification in 1987 and his Adapted Aquatics Instructor and Lifeguarding Training Instructor in 1988. He has been a swimming instructor/coach on and off ever since. He is currently certified as an Instructor though the Pike’s Peak American Red Cross chapter in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Travis is currently working toward his level 2 coaching certificate through the American Swim Coaches’ Association. Travis’s prior coaching experience includes assistant coach for the Larose Regional Part, assistant coach for Hohenfels Hurricanes and coaching 5 Lisbon Swimmers for the Rota Tiburones in 2008-2009.
Coach Lindsey Reid
Coach Lindsey Reid has been swimming since she was three years old and swimming competitively for the last six years. She recently achieved her coaching certification from the ASCA. She is also certified in First Aid and CPR for adults and children. Last year Lindsey worked as an assistant coach for the team in an internship position. This year she is the primary coach for the bronze group. In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Lindsey is Co-Captain of the Lisbon Busllsharks.
